Mrs. Bryant

Hello!
My name is Samantha Bryant, and I am very excited to be your child's first grade teacher. Teaching is my passion, and I feel truly blessed to be able to do what I love every single day. I have previously taught in Citrus County, and this will be my first year at Joyce Bullock Elementary. I am thrilled to begin the new adventure.
In my classroom, I focus on each student's individual characteristics and needs. My goal is to help each student realize and develop his or her strengths and areas in need of improvement. I use small group and one on one instruction to help each student reach his or her academic goals. It is such a joy to see students progress throughout the school year. I believe first grade is a critical year for student progress in all subject areas, especially reading.
This school year your child will achieve many milestones. You can help your child succeed by reading and writing with them, talking with them about school daily, and staying involved with their school work.
Your child will also have the special experience this year of having two teachers! Ms. Ruiz and I are team teaching. She teaches math, science, and social studies while I teach reading, writing, and language arts. Ms. Ruiz and I work diligently together to ensure that each student reaches his or her full potential.
Please check this blog often to see class pictures and updates.
Finally, if you would like to discuss your child's progress, please call me at JBE or email me (samantha.bryant@levy.k12.fl.us).

I look forward to having an amazing year and helping your child succeed!
Our awesome classroom!
When I am not teaching I love to run, be outdoors, and spend lots of time with my dog (Graf) and cat (Sampson).
