Welcome parents and students! My name is Monica Cooper. I have been teaching first grade at Joyce Bullock Elementary School for 11 years. I have learned so much from my students and fellow teachers over the years! Each year I grow and change to better meet the needs of all my students.
In my classroom my students are my number one priority. I determine their needs and interests in order to drive my instruction. My students are involved in many discussions and lots of cooperative learning activities. I strive to instill a love of reading and always encourage thought provoking questions.
I love to read and I love spending time with my family and friends. My husband and I have been married for 7 years. We have three wonderful and fabulously curious sons. Owen is five years old and Jonah is three. Last May we welcomed our third son, Noah Thomas.
