Hello fabulous first graders! My name is Becky Gomez and I am very excited to be teaching first grade this year. This is my first year teaching at Joyce Bullock, and I can’t wait to get started. This is my second year teaching first grade, last year I taught at North Broward Academy, which is located in Ft. Lauderdale.

I graduated from the University of Florida (Go Gators!) with my Master’s degree in early childhood education in 2014. I myself have a passion for school and am excited to pass that passion on to you!

I was born in New Jersey, but moved to Lake City when I was in fifth grade. I have a few pets that I love: a horse named Kirra, my dog named Ramsey and my newest addition, a chocolate lab puppy named Oliver. When I am not teaching, I try to spend as much time with my friends and family as I can and enjoy reading, riding my horse, and going for runs.
